Last Monday the MIC attended training held an NGO, Expanding Maternal & Neonatal Survival (EMAS) Indonesia, as a trainer. EMASS is a program of USAID to support the Government of Indonesia pressing maternal mortality & newborn. This training is delivered in the material about the processing of data with Microsoft Excel is 2013. Some technologies are taught including PowerPivot, PowerView, PowerQuery and PowerMap. The event was held at the Hotel Novotel Yogyakarta.

Some time ago MIC team attended to enliven the event at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta to talking about technology. MIC team gets a part to convey about the ALM fundamentals. The focus of this part is to create and to plan better solution to the customer and control and ensure the quality of siftware. This materials is about how to understand the user and how to write it as a specification of a software and about how to create a quality software by using software engineering discipline.

Teaching with Technology and Learning Activities Training is a special event held for educational establishments. This event is followed by the number of participants is limited. The event made during the 33 hours it provides an introduction to and practice of the use of technology in the classroom. This month there are two similar events. The first event was held with participants of the teachers and employees of SMA Pembanganan Playen Wonosari. The event was held on the 31st of April-May 1, 2014. The second event was held on 14 and 16 may 2014. Participants in this second event is a team of curriculum developer PPPPTK Seni dan Budaya.

On 3 April, MIC and PPPPTK Matematika held a workshop on the implementation of the Office 365 for distance learning. The event was attended by 40 participants. OneDrive and Lync online becomes the main material in the workshop. Participants were introduced to cloud-based storage to manage documents collaboratively. Lync Online personalized for an online class is also put into practice to enrich the insights of participants in classroom management.

Partners in Learning Camp is a workshop on the introduction of ICT-based learning media from Microsoft to the teachers. This time the event was held at the PPPPTK Seni dan Budaya. At a workshop held 2 days discussed Office 365 utilization as a distance leadning and online classroom. The event was held on 10-11 January 2014 followed by more than 50 participants.

AMIKOM Yogyakarta in cooperation with MIC to implement an IT Academy for learning activities in the Department of Informatics. On 4-5 January 2014 held a workshop on the utilization of the IT Academy by MIC Yogyakarta for faculty and staff of AMIKOM Yogyakarta. This Workshop has the theme "Teaching with IT Academy". PIL Camp is a Microsoft technology utilization workshop for teaching activities in the classroom. At this event discussed Office 365 as distance learning media. This event gives teachers insight into Exchange Online, SkyDrive Pro and Lync Online. The event was held on 2 February 2014 in SMA Negeri 1 Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta and followed by a community of innovative teachers in Yogyakarta.

Developer War is a competition of making Windows applications 8. The event was organized by the MIC worked together with MUGI (Microsoft User Group Indonesia) in Purwokerto, Central Java.
